This is the second and last part of the article that talks about the different pointers that should be aware of and that you could follow when you are planning on expanding your business by dipping your feet into the field of dropshipping or when you are just going to try dropshipping for your business to make things easier from your side of the reselling enterprise.
4. There are times when the dropship terms that the supplier, the reseller and the client have agreed upon do not go as it was planned. When this happens, it would be better if you would also be honest with all the concerned parties that there has been an error in the transaction or if the shipment is going to be delayed, so that all concerned parties would be aware of what is going on with the transaction. It would also be better if you yourself could find out what is the matter with the transaction and if you could handle the issue personally. It would give your clients the feeling that you are involved and that you are doing everything in your power just to correct that something that has gone wrong.
5. You should immediately get your back and defences up as soon as you encounter a dropshipper that would require you to pay a certain fee when you want to register in their website or domain. Your first thought would be that if they are really after resellers that they could work with, then they should be welcoming those potential resellers with open arms and not with a page that would require the potential resellers to pay any fee. After all, they should only be paid when there is an actual transaction and not when the potential reseller is trying to register in their domain.
6. If you encounter a dropship partner that requires you to make a minimum number of order before you could agree on a transaction, then it would be better for you and your business if you would just look for another dropship partner, a partner that would not require you to make a minimum number of order. After all, your order depends on the number of orders of your client, and you should not be increasing the quantity of your order just because some unprofessional dropship partner requires you to.
7. In relation with the above pointer when it comes to dropshipping, it would be better if you have a number of dropship partners up your sleeve. With this, you are assured that your business would still go on even if one of your suppliers do not have the item that the client wants to buy, because you could just contact your other dropship partners if they have the said product.
8. It is also important that before you make a deal with a certain dropship provider to take a few samples of their products for yourself and see if they are as good as the dropship provider boasts.
