If so, you might have an idea for a small business startup! The demand for personal services and handyman services is growing, and some of these opportunities are quite flexible.
• Online Auction Sellers – Lots of professional eBay sellers started out by selling some old things they found in their closets. This business has a low entry cost, and you can learn while getting junk out of your house! After your own closets are empty, you can expand to product sourcing. Some people have turned these businesses into large ones.
• Local Marketing - Develop your own door card or flier delivery services for small businesses in your area. You can print your materials on your home computer or use a local printer. Many small companies, like stores, dentists, and restaurants, will be willing to hire you if you can provide a cost effective way to advertise their business.
